This business has always grown one friend at a time.
Scent of Home started at my kitchen counter with a candle kit and a lot of trial and error. It grew because someone lit one at a dinner party, a friend asked where it came from, and then a sister, a neighbor, a coworker asked too.
The Circle is my way of honoring that. It is a small, hand-picked group of people, many of them right here in the Treasure Valley, who already love what we make. You keep doing what you are already doing, telling people about the candle on your counter, and we make sure you are rewarded for it.

What we ask
A light touch, done honestly.
- Share Scent of Home in your own words about twice a month, in posts, stories, texts or in person.
- Tag @scentof_home and add #ad or your platform's paid-partnership label when you post. It keeps things honest, and it is required by the FTC.
- Keep your link personal. Share it with your people rather than on coupon websites.
- Tell us what you hear. Your friends' feedback shapes our next scents.

Good to know
How much can I earn?
You earn 15% of every order placed through your link. For example, a friend who buys two 10oz candles at $29.99 earns you about $9.
How do class referrals work?
Our private candle-pouring classes are available in Boise and across the Treasure Valley, for groups of 8 or more, starting at $55 per person. We bring everything to your host's home or venue. When you set one up, you earn 20% of the class total. For a group of 8 at $55 each, that is about $88.
How does tracking work?
When someone clicks your link, every order they place in the next 90 days counts for you, even if they come back later on their own.
When do I get paid?
Your commission is paid about 30 days after each order. That short wait covers any returns, and then Shopify Collabs sends it to you automatically. There is no minimum balance.
Do I need to live in Idaho?
Not at all. Members anywhere in the U.S. earn the same commission on every order and get the same welcome candle and early scents. The only Treasure Valley perk is the class reward, since our classes are local.
Do I need lots of followers?
No. Some of the best word of mouth comes from people with a few hundred followers and a lot of friends who trust them.
What if I have a slow month?
Life happens. If you go a full season without sharing, we will pause your membership, and you can pick it back up whenever you are ready.
Can my friends get a discount?
Not to start. We keep our prices fair for everyone, and your friends still get our Love Your Product Guarantee on their first order.
How many spots are there?
We are keeping the first Circle small, about 10 people, so we can actually know everyone. More spots open each season.
