Scent of Home® began in a season I didn't expect—somewhere between motherhood's beautiful chaos and a quiet pull to create something meaningful.
Like many mothers, I found myself in the beautiful blur of everyday life. Full days, full hearts, and very little space to slow down. In that season, I felt a pull to reconnect with creativity, not just to make something, but to be more intentional about what I was bringing into our home and our lives.
At the same time, our family was changing the way we lived. We started paying closer attention to the food we were eating, the products we were using to clean our home, and what we were bringing into our space day after day. It wasn’t about being perfect, it was about being more aware.
I’ve always loved candles. The warmth they bring, the way a scent can completely change how a room feels, how something as simple as lighting a candle can slow everything down for a moment. But once I started looking more closely at the products we were using, I realized I wanted candles that felt just as comforting as they looked, without questioning what was in them.
I wanted scents that felt familiar and grounding. Candles that made a space feel inviting and lived in. Something I felt good burning around my kids, our pets, and the people we welcome into our home.

Every candle and diffuser is hand-poured in small batches in our studio in Kuna, Idaho, with care and attention to detail. Each scent is created to bring warmth and ease to your home, using clean, non-toxic ingredients that are safe for your family, your pets, and the people you invite into your space.
